We are the confluence of the Isle of Arran, Scotland -> North Carolina -> Georgia -> Florida HENDRY Clan (Clan MacNaughton); and the Hanover, Germany -> Virginia -> Washington, D.C. -> Southern Maryland RECKEWEG Family.

Gail Muriel (Reckeweg) Hendry was born in our Nation's Capital, and raised in Fort Washington, Maryland (go Friendly High School Patriot’s!).  She graduated from lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1978 with Honors.

Robert William Hendry was born in Long Beach, California, the son of a Florida born and raised career Navy Chief Petty Officer (Chief Boatswains Mate). Bob grew up in San Diego, California AND Glenolden, Pennsylvania. He was very active in sports while attending Interboro High School, Class of '63 (Go Buckaneers!) Later, the US Army sent him to Cameron University to receive his B.S. in Accounting, and on to the University of Southern California to receive his M.S. Bob still isn’t sure how he came to reside in Maryland. Must be the Blue Crabs and Silver Queen corn . . .
