General Notes: Child - Frederick RECKEWEG
Frederick Reckeweg, my Grandfather, was known to me as "Pop". He workedfor many years on the B & O railroad, where he lost his leg to an accident. The family says that he was a hard man, and very unpleasant attimes. Before I was born in 1969, he suffered a stroke, which changedhis personality. I remember him as sickly, but with a sense of humor. It wasn't able to get close to him. When I was about 4 or 5 years old, I cracked my elbow after falling off of his lap while playing"Horsey". He had incredible, Blue eyes. - hjl
